The successful applicant will be able to research and outbound call specific prospect targets to identify leads and develop a pipeline for Sales Managers to execute. They will have the drive and desire to develop their skills and to expand their capabilities.  This position has the potential to progress into a Junior Sales role.

  • Targeted outbound calls into identified industry verticals to develop leads and build pipeline
  • Working with marketing to follow up leads created by inbound and outbound marketing
  • Research identified targets to support new business sales customer targeting and acquisition
  • Ensure that all leads are followed up and allocated appropriately
  • Ensure that salesforce.com data is completed correctly for reporting
  • Use reports and insight to identify trends and effective operational and process changes
  • Nurture qualified opportunities to support sales team pipeline management
  • Support New Business sales team activities in meeting targets
  • Maintain outstanding salesforce.com records
  • Develop reports and mechanisms to improve sales team effectiveness
  • Identify new ideas and process changes
What skills & experience do I need?
  • Previous experience of working in a performance led sales culture, ideally in SaaS technology and or payments based solutions to clients, minimum of 1 year
  • Previous experience of targeted outbound lead generation
  • Experience of generating increased business from clients and hitting sales targets
