Currencycloud is a technology start up with 150 people based in London (HQ), New York and Ukraine. We are impressively backed having raised $61M from investors including GV (Google Ventures), Sapphire Ventures (SAP) and Rakuten. We process $15bn a year across 5 million payments and we are growing at +100% a year. Our customers include a wide range of startups (Seedrs, Azimo, Revolut) as well as established firms (Travelex, Standard Bank, Hyundai) across the world. What they have in common is the desire to facilitate cross border payments via an API solution.
We are looking for VP Marketing to help shape the future of the company. The mandate is to mature our marketing function from that of a startup to a much larger company. The right person must understand how to automate and optimise the acquisition journey for smaller clients, while implementing account based marketing programmes to bring in larger clients. They will also own our PR and content strategies and will need to be a great storyteller. The team is currently 8 people across London and New York.
In addition, the person will be a key player in the leadership team, helping to set the tone and culture of the organisation. We are looking for someone who has got massive amounts of emotional intelligence, and the ability to integrate our brand into our culture.
This position will report into the CMO & Head of Product.
