Currencycloud, the experts simplifying business in a multi-currency world, today announced the launch of its Bold Academy – a knowledge-sharing programme for Series A-funded start-ups. The Bold Academy launches alongside an update to the company brand following a period of significant growth and international expansion.
The Bold Academy is a free 12-month programme and learning series designed to help global start-ups scale fast by offering strategic support and access to webinars and market experts. It will see Currencycloud use its own experience to back other ambitious Fintechs who will be the stars of tomorrow.
The Bold Academy launch accompanies a new company website, fresh positioning and employee training as part of the revamped brand.
Todd Latham, Chief Growth Officer at Currencycloud, said of the announcement: “We’ve experienced an exciting period of growth over the past few years, and built up an immense amount of expertise and knowledge within our team. It’s that expertise that has helped launch and support so many of today’s Fintech stars such as Revolut, Starling, and Money Mover. The Bold Academy is just one example of how we’re backing the Fintech community around us.
“We have revamped our brand to reflect where we are today, and to demonstrate our commitment to sharing knowledge and helping others in the Fintech space.”
The updated branding shines the spotlight directly on Currencycloud clients and their success with the tagline ‘backing your bold’. Currencycloud’s solutions are behind many of today’s Fintech unicorns, and the new brand positioning embodies how it will continue to support clients, giving them the confidence to go further, faster.
The future-facing update to the brand builds on a period of sustained success and growth for the firm. The Fintech has seen monthly transactions jump to over $3 billion this year, and seen record signings for customers, growing its customer base by a third. It has also expanded into the Asia-Pacific region, establishing a 50-strong office in Singapore. The business says the new brand reflects its maturity and establishment within the UK Fintech community and the wider financial services world.
Richard Arundel, Chief Evangelist at Currencycloud, said: “Much like our company has scaled-up from our initial start-up days, our brand has also matured since we last updated it in 2016. We have the most amazing clients who are boldly revolutionizing financial services, and we’re proud to be the experts backing them.”
